I'm motivated to get back to working out. After the busy dahlia/fair season, it is finally time to get back thinking about my races. Last night I got back on the Wii fit, after 111 days without a sign-in body test, I was pleasantly surprised to learn that I'd lost 2.4 pounds! Not my goal, but nice to hear anyways. I did an EA Active workout with Greg, and it's always a surprise to feel sore 10 minutes into a video game workout! I want to get back to the gym sometime this week, get in the pool for a bit, and on the treadmill for a little Chris style run (fast walk :)). I'd like to do the Hiawatha Trail bike ride sometime before the weather gets too bad as well. So much to do, so little time! I'm waiting to register for ChelanMan next year, I'd really like to do the Olympic distance.. but my brother mentioned that he'd like to do the Try a Tri race, so it would be better to do the Sprint so our events would be the same day... decisions decisions.
Well, I'm going to work on a new training schedule to start now, and have monthly goals, instead of just a schedule starting 8 weeks before the races, and no real goals other than do the workout on the schedule. That will be what I work on in my free time.
Also, I must say, I love my Kindle. I can read whatever I want whenever I want, and I can have it read to me when I can't hold it! LOVE IT!
