Okay, I've put a lot of thought into this, and I'm not sure it is quite finished, but it's pretty close.
Since this is my training blog, I'll start with:
Exercise and Fitness
1. Swim - 3 times per week, try Total Immersion lessons
2. Bike - 3 hours or 30 miles per week (minimums)
3. Run - 10 miles per week or C25K (Couch to 5 K workouts)
4. Weights/Yoga/Pilates/Wii Active - 4 times per week
5. Daily Food Diary
6. Daily Vitamins and Calcium supplement
As for the other parts of my life:
Household goals:
1. KEEP TO THE $$$$ BUDGET!!!
2. Weekly perpetual to do list for housework
3. Food plan (monthly) with 2 new recipes per month
Kid goals:
1. Active activity (minimum 1 hour) 5 times per week
2. Craft/Painting/Sand/Misc activity 4 times per week
3. Homeschool Lesson Planning - one week per week
Business Goals
1. 4 new designs/ideas per month
2. 30 items per month to prepare for Christmas sales
3. MARKETING!!!
10 miles per week??? I must be crazy, but after seeing people with the 1000 miles in the year goal, this doesn't seem like that much. I'll be satisfied if I run 500 miles in a year, actually, I will be ecstatic if I run more than 100 miles, since I've never run more than maybe 15 in any one year before. If I do 200, it will be more than I've ever done before CUMULATIVE! Maybe that should have been my goal, 200 miles, hmmm that would be 4/week. Well, I'll leave it at 10 but be happy with 4 :). Since the $$$ budget included a 30% reduction in income, it will be difficult, and I'm sure it will be a struggle, but I'm going to do my best. Okay, I'm ready for midnight, and the start of the new year.
Happy New Year everyone!!!

Plans and Goals Part 1
This is a work in progress
Today I downloaded a few different training plans for Training Peaks, I also mapped out a few of my most common routes when training; home to harvard, home to Plantes Ferry Park, swim at Lakeshore Park. I also looked at the couch to 5 k training program, I'd still like to do this. How do I pick just one training plan and do it, when there are so many that have what I need???
I'm feeling a bit better, it no longer feels like my eye is going to pop out of my head if I bend over, so that's a start! I need to get the wireless speedometer put on my bike, since when it is on the trainer the front tire doesn't spin.
I hear a sick little girl calling my name, so I'd better go.

Merry Christmas!
Okay, so what was my last post about???
Ah yes, my problem that I believe is a problem...
Well, the results of the sleep study are in, and the diagnosis is... Abnormal arousal (as in waking up :) ) pattern, not associated with restless leg syndrome or respiratory issue. Which means, there is nothing they can do for me. The worst part is that it cost nearly $3,000 for the sleep study, half of which was not paid my insurance. Not a good result, since I'm exactly where I was before, but without a few paychecks.
I did have a follow up with the cardiologist after the stress ekg, since my doctor thought we needed more information. His diagnosis is that I have exercise induced asthma, and now I have an inhaler ($80 more). I've only had the opportunity to use it once, at my birthday party when we were playing Dance Dance Revolution, it seemed to help, but I also took a break, so it's hard to judge. I'm going to do some "testing" with it, go to the gym and do a couple workouts with it and without it, and graph it on the Garmin and see how it looks. I hope it helps.
As for working out, this is the busiest time of the year, and to top it all off, we have had nothing but sick germs around here for a month. Before Thanksgiving, Abby had both ears infected, then we all had a little cough, then two weeks ago, we took turns with the stomach flu, everyone of us, including my parents and grandma, had it. Then once we were all done throwing up, Selena got an ear infection, then two days before Christmas, I got a sinus/eye infection. UGH!
We are all starting to feel better, hopefully enough to get excited about working out. I don't like being one of the January Gym people, the ones that seem to only come in after the holidays, but seriously, I haven't had a minute to spare to get to the gym since before our vacation in August. On another note, I'm still working on goals/schedule for 2011. Hopefully I get it figured out before 2011 is actually here. I'll work on it this week.
Okay, well, I hope all of my readers had a good holiday, and will have a safe new year.
First goal~ be better about keeping up with my blog!
