We are about to go on our vacation, and I'm excited to go, and get back to get back into training. I have tons of ambition for next year, going to spend the fall/winter months going through the Total Immersions plan, and work on my running (or lack thereof).
While on vacation, I hope to get in some hiking with the family. We aren't taking the bikes with us this time, but we should get some good exercise in Glacier and Banff.

Wow, it's been a while!
Wow is right, I can't believe time has gone by so fast.
Race the River went well, I had a great time.
Race the River Results... 1 hour 43 minutes 12 seconds...
Compared to last year(1hr42min50sec)~ shorter swim by over a minute, shorter bike by over a minute... 20 seconds off t2, but 20 sec plus on t1... 2.68 minutes longer on the run... and I thought I ran more this time... All in all, an increase of 22 seconds from... last year.
So, now I have a good goal for next year. I plan on using the couch to 5k training method for my running. I need to start it soon. I haven't done ANYTHING to help my training for next year. I've been so busy with work and house stuff that I haven't spent any time on myself. I'm feeling really down, so I need to get back into something. We are taking a long camping trip starting next week. When we get back it will be getting back into training mode once again.
